We Are Finally Open!!

We are officially OPEN FOR PLAY! Arcadia Badminton Club is very excited to announce that we have finally opened our doors for public play. We welcome all players to visit us to play on one of our 17 state-of-the-art badminton court in this brand new facility. Official Opening of ABC after Thanksgiving

We already got approval of the Condition Use Permit by City of Arcadia. A final plan check and inspection should be done next week. Hopefully we can open to the public by end of next week.

Pass of Arcadia City Council Hearing

Hello Again

On 9/18 Tuesday night. At City Hall of Arcadia. It took about 1.5 hours to finish our hearing. Luckily it was passed. Councilman emphasized the safety of our members and parking spots of other business not to be used by our club patrons. We shall have a uniform security guard after 5pm till close. This is to ensure the safety of our members and guests.

Especially their hope to this new club. Rena earned a lot of applause after speech because she's still a student in Arcadia High School. Also thank for the coming of Jacque Gibson, Dora Wang, Iris Wang, Scott Chen and Linda Louie.

A councilman suggest us to open till 10pm in the weeknites and 12pm in the weekened. I explained that with such a small amount to be charged which would be very hard to breakeven if close such early in the weeknites.

We thank for the patience of our pre-members. Without their support, this club won't be built.
We also thank for the visitors who gave us suggestions on the Lighting; Sky-Lights etc. Still have something to be improved everyday.

It should be another 2 weeks. As there has about 23 conditions need to be done and inspected by City of Arcadia.

Club Opening

Dear Badminton People

We still have to wait a little bit for our club to open. City of Arcadia asked us to wait for the 3rd hearing on 9/18 because of the concern of our neighbor on increasing of trash and traffic and use of their parkings etc.

It's been a long process for applying such a permit to open a Badminton Club. Believe you all would understand and makes our community nicer. Just throw the trash into the bin and recycle. And remember, only park on the designated parkings of the club only. We'll hire a full-time janitor to clean as always as possible. Show others we Badminton class are the uppermost.

In return, we would make this club the best to play. Everyone here will enjoy and sweat. Please keep post on this website and will let you know when will the grand opening be.
