Membership - General Information

1. How to join as a member:

2. Types of Membership:

    We have different kind of memberships.  Please refer to our Prices and Fees

3. Sponsorship - skill or potential players program. 

Subject to the approval of ABC management

  • Full Adult Sponsorship - he/she has to be from 21-28 years of age and a current USA Team players.  For foreign country players, we have to study case by case.
  • Part Adult Sponsorship - he/she has to be from 21-28 years of age and in level A or above who shows the talent and potential in Badminton skill.  
  • Full Junior Sponsorship - he/she has to be a champion in at least 2 times USA Badminton Tournaments in the same criteria.  Also, has to be GPA 3.2 or above.
  • Part Junior Sponsorship - he/she has to be under 21 years of age who shows the talent and potential in Badminton skill.

4. Coach - All coaches wish to teach/conduct classes in ABC has to show all their past performances and resume be published on our website.  All coaching in our club are all recognized by our ABC management.

5. Foreign Membership - All foreign players are welcome to play temporarily at our club.  Please email us.

Member or Non-Member - Which is the best for you?

1. Member -

  • - If you play regularly and usually over 4 times a month.
  • - If you like to play in our league tournament throughout the whole season (only for members)
  • - Always play for long hours
    • - Want to improve in Badminton

    2.Walk-In (Non-Member) -

  • - If you only play once in a while and want to play with Club members.
  • - If you are from out of state or city not nearby
  • - If you come by yourself

    3. Court Rental -

  • - If you have a group of players want to play among yourselves.
  • - If you don't want to be bothered by other members.
  • - Can play with as many players you have.
  • - Want to have private lessons with coaches.

    Voluntary Membership Cancellation

    - You must cancel your membership at the Membership Desk. Membership Card must be surrendered on the day of notification.

    - If your plan was the one-time annual payment or one-time six-month payment:

    1. No refund will be given for the remainder of the month in which you cancel your membership and your membership will still be valid until the last day of the month.
    2. All membership cancellations must be received by the 10th of the month in order not to be billed for the following month.
    3. A $25 cancellation fee will apply to all one-time annual payment cancellations and one-time six month payment cancellations with the following exceptions: - Changes in medical conditions resulting in physical limitations (must receive a physician’s note).
    4. Your refund will be calculated based on the amount you paid minus the number of months used at the monthly membership rate minus the cancellation fee.

    - If your plan was monthly dues:

    1. No refund will be given for the remainder of the month in which you cancel your membership and your membership will still be valid until the last day of the month.
    2. All membership cancellations must be received by the 10th of the month in order not to be billed for the following month.
    3. Membership card must be surrendered on the day of notification.
